I was looking through the National Rail website for some information and found the guidelines for rail enthusiasts. It states that all Britain’s train operating companies and Network Rail welcome rail enthusiasts to their stations.

You have been thinking I must get out more, well now is toy chance. Get down to your local railway station and start photographing those trains today. :-)

I have seen this very odd pastime of train watching at the Ebbsfleet station In Kent. Being one of those inquisitive types i asked what they where doing, the following 30 seconds of the conversation i had with them pretty much bored me but i did check out what they where talking about.
It was the Ski Train that runs through to southern Europe’s ski resorts. Rather than explain, here is the rail Europe website i found most of my information on.
Eurostar also have a ski train.
