{"id":1171,"date":"2011-02-26T04:56:34","date_gmt":"2011-02-26T04:56:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.agm.me.uk\/blog\/?p=1171"},"modified":"2011-03-07T23:09:48","modified_gmt":"2011-03-07T23:09:48","slug":"more-travel-mashup-changes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.agm.me.uk\/blog\/2011\/02\/more-travel-mashup-changes.php","title":{"rendered":"More travel mashup changes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After a phone call with a senior manager at TrafficLink this week I have been informed the BBCs travel feeds that were offered as part of the <a href=\"http:\/\/backstage.bbc.co.uk\/\">BBC Backstage<\/a> initiative will be switched off in a few days. As you may have heard there is another political issue associated with this change that I will not be touching on here while staff at BBC are investigating it further.<\/p>\n<p>In the short term all mashups will continue to work as normal. When the <a href=\"http:\/\/backstage.bbc.co.uk\/prototypes\/archives\/2005\/08\/goggle_earth_li.html\">feed currently taken the BBC data<\/a> stops I will switch over to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.trafficengland.com\/\">Traffic England<\/a> feed that is licensed under the <a href=\"http:\/\/data.gov.uk\/\">Open Government Licence<\/a>. The Traffic Scotland link is only experimental at the moment but I hope to have this added to the feed soon.
