I have now had word from my old school friend Paul who was running the London Marathon for the Anthony Nolan Trust (<a href=\"http:\/\/blog.agm.me.uk\/blog\/2006\/04\/chronic-myloid-leukemia.php\">blog post<\/a>) who finished in just over 5 hours. Paul&#8217;s the current total raised is about \u00a34200.<\/p>\n<p>You may be interested to know that Pauls&#8217;s sister did beat him in the marathon despite suffering leukaemia and being in hospital on a drip  the week before. She has also raised over \u00a39000.<\/p>\n<p>He is now planning to do the Marathon again, but possibly missing a year. Perhaps he should consider the 2007 Great North Run that I am trying to persuade my work colleagues to enter.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Some good news.
