Chronic Myloid Leukemia Update

Some good news. I have now had word from my old school friend Paul who was running the London Marathon for the Anthony Nolan Trust (blog post) who finished in just over 5 hours. Paul’s the current total raised is about £4200.

You may be interested to know that Pauls’s sister did beat him in the marathon despite suffering leukaemia and being in hospital on a drip the week before. She has also raised over £9000.

He is now planning to do the Marathon again, but possibly missing a year. Perhaps he should consider the 2007 Great North Run that I am trying to persuade my work colleagues to enter.
