I have enabled anonymous comments on my blog so you will no longer need to register with Blogger to make a point. Although I did consider moving away from Blogger to enable more customization it is doing what I need it to do, and doing it well, so I will stick with it for now.

One comment does not constitute spam!
It is not the quantity, and it has been more than one.
Comments with the most loose of links to the original post and of no benefit to the blog reader is not something I want on my blog, regardless of how it is classified.
Interestingly the problem has stopped after enabling moderation so I guess people don’t bother posting if they know it will be moderated.
I assure you I will not be blocking comments because I disagree, I actually welcome all comments (including silly ones “D” ;-) ), I will just not be allowing posts with no content purely so someone can get a link to your business on my blog.
