The unicycling is going well

March 12th, 2007

I was out this weekend and took an hour out to practice my unicycling. This was after 30 minutes practice after not unicycling for over 15 years.

Street art – Sponsored by BT

March 3rd, 2007

Now you may not know this, but I am an expert when it comes to art. Yes, show we something and after a short ponder I will be able to tell you if it is art, or just a thing. Some say that I am talking gibberish, but that are heathens who do not appreciate art, or do not appreciate not art, whatever it is or was. :-)

Anyway, I digresses. My mother knowing that I like a bit of street art decided to send me this article about the phone box at the end of the road. Please have a read.

For reference the phone box was not art until the sign went up, then it was. It is not something I can explain, it just is okay. ;-) I will now be producing signs for things around Tyneside to identify if they are are or not, so keep a look out for them.

Lost In Translation

February 8th, 2007

This is a set of instructions that one of my colleagues brought in. They are the instructions for a mobile phone protective screen, and something tells me that is was translated by someone (or some software) that was not top of the class.

Click on the image and read the English translation, and do read it all because there are some corkers in the text.

How to get great service in a restaurant

December 15th, 2006

First of all you need a crazy girl friend who thinks the water looks young and cute and asks if she can adopt him. He then goes off and tells his colleagues who all want to come and see this crazy girl friend. Now instead of getting two plates of food and a platter of vegetables you will get the plates, a platter vegetables, a platter of potatoes and a gravy boat along every waiter in the building.

Moot – nice bar, rubish name

November 30th, 2006

A pub just along from the office has recently been re-branded and had a text in competition to select the new name. At first we thought it was a fix, but after reading one of the on table adverts we are less certain.

Dear Alistair Christmas

November 30th, 2006

Christmas is coming and the shopping days until then are fast disappearing.

Now many of us lads would have a problem in finding something appropriate for out girl friends for Christmas, but no me, no. This is because I was lucky enough to find a top secret and well hidden wish list, hidden in full view in the middle of my pillow.

It is not all that expensive though, the holiday in Sharm El Sheikh has already been replaced with a two piece suite. Now all I need to do is figure out how I am going to pay for it all.

Can I just get a coffee

November 13th, 2006

We were on Hemel Hempstead station last week and I found that the coffee shop had a sense of humour. This picture if the bottom of the menu.

Useless Inventions

October 9th, 2006

So you think I come up with some strange ideas, have a look at these.

Don't let it get your cursor!!!

October 5th, 2006

I was sitting at a colleagues computer and for some reason was compelled to search for “something silly” and Google gave me this. Enjoy!

Politically Neutral

October 3rd, 2006

I believe in the media being politically neutral and I am pleased to see that Time Trumpet has put a lot of effort in to making certain that both Blair and Cameron were treated equally. Watch the clip here on YouTube to see. :-)
